Producer Akiva Goldsman sent fans into a frenzy yesterday at Comic-Con when he hinted at big news for the Warner Bros. project. And it seems the studio is eyeing *Transformers: Rise of the Beasts* director Steven Caple Jr. to helm the film. While nothing is official yet, sources suggest Warner Bros. is keen on bringing the *Creed II* director back together with Jordan.
Goldsman revealed that he’s already completed a second draft of the script, promising a fresh take on the post-apocalyptic world. The sequel will pick up from the alternate ending of the original film, where humanity faces even greater challenges in a zombie-infested world.
