In a recent Elle Impact panel discussion on women’s empowerment, Genelia shared her experiences regarding her return to acting. She emphasized that she doesn’t place excessive importance on success or failure, stating, “It’s a part of our life. I feel we hype our success too much and stress a bit too much on failure, whereas the impact and intent of your daily life are what truly matter.” Reflecting on her hiatus, she recalled being advised against returning to films after a decade, yet ‘Ved’ defied expectations and became a cult hit.
