Dhanush Takes Over Delhi: ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ Shoot at SRCC Sparks Fan Frenzy!

Actor Dhanush is currently in Delhi, filming his next Hindi movie, Tere Ishq Mein, under the direction of Aanand L Rai. The shoot, taking place at Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), has generated a buzz online, with several images and videos surfacing on social media.

In one viral clip, Dhanush is seen dashing through the campus, surrounded by extras, as students capture the moment in awe. A particular photo, widely shared on X (formerly Twitter), shows the 41-year-old actor in action, prompting fans to comment that he needs “no de-aging” to convincingly play a college student.

A video, seemingly taken by a student, describes spotting Dhanush on campus as a “fan girl moment.” The montage features various behind-the-scenes glimpses, including the actor stepping out of his caravan and preparing for a scene where he energetically runs across the campus. The setting suggests a college election sequence, with Dhanush’s character, Shankar Gurrukkal, hinting at a student leader’s persona.

Speaking about the film’s themes, Aanand L Rai clarified its connection to Raanjhanaa, his 2013 hit with Dhanush. “It belongs to the world of Raanjhanaa, but it is not a sequel. The emotions, rage, and layered love story have similarities, but the narratives are distinct,” he told PTI.

The film, featuring Kriti Sanon as Mukti, is set for release later this year, promising another emotionally charged drama from Rai and Dhanush. Fans eagerly await more glimpses from the set as excitement builds around Tere Ishq Mein.
