David Harbour to play Santa Claus!!

Although the colour scheme of red and white may not be your favorite for a superhero, David Harbour pulls it off. The actor, who broke into the superhero genre with his portrayal of Marvel’s Red Guardian, will return just in time for some “season’s beatings,” appearing in “Violent Night” this time as Santa Clause.

ETimes had to ask the actor about embracing the “tough-dad” persona on the big screen because he already plays a father figure to Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow and Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “It’s tough to realise that you are not the young man you believe yourself to be in your head, David says, adding that it is both wonderful and awful. The fact that the fathers in the parts I’ve been given are complex fathers is fantastic.”
