Allu Arjun and Atlee Collaboration Falls Through

Rumored Project Canceled Amid Conflicting Reports on Fees and Schedules

Allu Arjun fans are facing disappointment as his anticipated film with director Atlee has reportedly been canceled. This news follows closely on the heels of rumors suggesting a delay for Pushpa 2. While initial speculation blamed the collapse on Atlee’s high fee demands, this has been proven false.

Director Atlee, known for his consecutive box office hits including Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, is currently a sought-after filmmaker. The potential collaboration with Allu Arjun generated significant buzz, but recent reports indicate that the project has been shelved.

According to Peeping Moon, the Pushpa star turned down the offer. A source close to the situation stated, “They were in early discussions, but the collaboration was never finalized as the media speculated. Atlee is still developing the script and has not confirmed any cast members. Although a joint project would have been exciting, it’s not happening for now.”

Contrary to rumors that Atlee demanded a substantial salary of 80 crores, sources clarify that this was not the reason for the decision. The report dismisses these claims as “baseless conjectures,” emphasizing the mutual respect between Allu Arjun and Atlee.

The collaboration fell apart due to differing personal preferences. Previously, they were also set to work together on Jawan, but Allu Arjun’s commitment to Pushpa 2 led to Sanjay Dutt taking the role instead.

Atlee is now in early talks with Salman Khan for his next project. The production schedule is still tentative, with a potential start date in the first quarter of 2025, contingent on the lead actor’s availability.
