Ajay responded to the question of whether he would contemplate a movie’s re-release after Runway 34 by saying, “Runway 34’s phenomenal run on OTT and the compliments that followed made me feel partly vindicated. I was relieved that as a filmmaker, I hadn’t entirely let my viewers down. I wished it had enjoyed a successful run in theaters. The box office does matter, as I have mentioned in my earlier response. But I wouldn’t think of trying to re-release Runway 34 in theaters (at least not at this point).
