PLOT
Arkeshwara (Upendra), an officer in the Indian Air Force, is descended from a family of independence fighters. He is madly in love with the wealthy girl Madhumathi (Shriya Saran), and they both want to get married. On the other hand, we get to meet some terrible politicians and gangsters that are lusting after power in Amarapura. In an abrupt turn of circumstances, Arkeshwara joins the criminal underworld and finally rises to the position of king. The central question of the narrative is how that affected Arkeshwara’s life.
The film features various villains, but Arkeswhara stands out in particular. Many one-liners and playful exchanges are played for laughs. Shivaraj Kumar’s appearance, in conclusion, provides one of the movie’s focal points and another plot twist. The film is worth seeing because of the plot, visuals, and cast as a whole.

Arkeshwara is a man on a mission, doing everything he can to fight British rule, but he chooses a path that no one has ever taken. Chandru’s director has focused on creating by erecting massive sets and even clothes that appear authentic on film. The tale, which could have descended further, becomes weak due to placing more emphasis on Arkeshwara’s character, which causes the screenplay to lose momentum. The story benefits from the background music.
Upendra, renowned for his distinctive movies, gave a strong performance. He had a great action avatar and a fabulous screen presence. The cameos of Kiccha Sudeepa and Shiva Rajkumar provide significant respite. Kabzaa has excellent cinematography and does a fantastic job of showcasing the past.
Murali Sharma, Sunil Puranik, and Anoop Revanna gave their all, but Shriya Saran, who plays Madhumathi, carries the emotional weight. Despite the numerous bloody and gory scenes, Namami’s song is visually charming. We cannot identify with the characters’ suffering since the movie lacks emotion. Sadly, the storytelling suffered in this process as the focus was only on creating a film that would appear larger than life on a vast scale.

It’s tough to sit through the second half. The romantic sequences are sporadic and add to the never-ending problems of the central couple’s very uninteresting love story. With all these facts, it received a two-star rating out of five.
