REVIEW
Michael B. Jordan directed the film, and it was a huge success. The anime-style battle scenes were a lot of fun. The Coogler brothers’ script is outstanding, with superb pacing that doesn’t waver once it gets going.
As Adonis, Michael B. Jordan puts on a fantastic and charming performance. Everyone in the room knows his unique screen presence, unmatched by anyone else. In her role as Bianca, Creed’s wife and music producer, Tessa Thompson is outstanding as usual. She has developed into a fiercely passionate and sympathetic persona. Regarding excellent performances, Jonathan Majors, as Damian is the star. He is exceptional and might currently perform this function better than Kang. He is fantastic throughout and sometimes even carries the situation.
Other notable performances come from Phylicia Rashad and Wood Harris, the movie’s senior actors who reprise their roles as characters. Yet, the youthful cast members also give some powerful performances. As young Adonis and Damian, Thaddeus J. Mixon and Spencer Moore II are fantastic, with Mila Davis Kent stepping out as Adonis and Bianca’s daughter Amara. Said, this movie featured a powerhouse of performances.
Rating – Three out of five stars.
It’s exciting to watch as the two compete against one another. Joseph Shirley’s music, Kramer Morgenthau’s riveting photography, and the sound design are all outstanding. This is especially true while filming the fight scenes. When actors internalize their roles, the movie is further elevated. Even if Jonathan Majors’s restless and malevolent Damian is excellent as Creed, Michael B. Jordan’s Creed is still unforgettable long after the movie has ended.
Whether you saw the last two parts or not is irrelevant. The stand-alone aspect of Creed III is also vital, and it merits seeing in a theater. Despite the movie’s relative predictability, there isn’t a single dull moment. Each of these factors contributed to the film’s rating.
